Looking and playing like an exclusive resort course the public access Yamba Golf & Country Club course is simply magnificent. Meandering around the wetlands and lush coastal bushland the Yamba golf course’s 18 hole championship layout offers every golfer a true golfing experience.
Most fairways are lined with thick vegetation providing that “are we are the only group playing” vibe. This course is meticulously maintained and is a real credit to all who are involved in it’s upkeep. Congratulations!
Although there are many candidates GolfAway’s choice for Yamba golf course’s signature hole is the 345 metre par four 16th. The all important tee shot here will have your golf brain working overtime. The heavily tree-line fairway has a slight S shape to it and narrows considerably at driving distance not enabling you to see the green from the tee. Once you have figured out your club selection and shot shape you will need to hit an almost perfect tee-shot to have any chance of making birdie (or even par). This is a wonderfully designed golfing hole that you will long remember.
