Play golf at Parkwood’s 6043 metre par 70 layout and experience what Gold Coast life is all about. Long been a favourite of the locals the Parkwood Golf Course is slowly but surely gaining credit for being one of the better courses for visitors of all skill levels to play.
The golf course is setup in a park like setting with natural watercourses, lakes, open areas and tree lined fairways. Parkwood’s greens are not overly large generally but they are receptive to well hit approach shots. The well grassed fairways are mostly generous with water in play on many holes.
There are many interesting holes here but GolfAway’s favourite hole to play at Parkwood is the 152 metre par three 7th hole. The view from the green can be a little intimidating with water at the front and bunkers the the right and rear. However the kidney shaped green is larger than it looks and provides ample space to land your golf ball. If the pin is set on the right this hole plays much harder than if it set on the left. To avoid a water carry the safe play is to aim at the left edge of the green. This hole is a real birdie chance and one that you will remember.
