The sub-tropical gardens here are also delightful.
There are many choices of rooms to choose from. The Resort Rooms are quite comfortable. There are One & Two bedroom Suites. When staying here we like to choose the Over Water Lagoon Suites. As the name suggests these rooms seem to float on water.
With the superb golf courses so close there is no need to travel anywhere else. Other activities here include sailing, kayaking on the lagoon, bicycle riding around the gardens, segway hire and minigolf. Yes, you can practice your putting here for hours.

Designed by the legendary Graham Marsh the Maroochy River golf course is always perfectly presented. The wide fairways and large greens are welcome sights for the slightly wayward golfer. From the back tees this course measures a lengthy 6441 metres. Many of the holes here feature risk versus reward opportunities. For those who are willing to take on bunker hugging doglegs will be rewarded with much shorter irons to the greens.
Almost all of the holes here at Maroochy River are adjacent to water but, fortunately, it would take a wild shot to find it. We rate the long 399m par four 18th hole as one of the best final holes you will find. With water down the left and a slight dogleg to the left a precise tee shot is required to reach the green in two. This is the only hole that has a water carry where a small stream guards the front of an enormous green. For shorter hitters this is a definite layup hole. A par or better here is most welcome.
