“Experience first-class course presentation when you play golf at Byron Bay.”
Enjoy picture perfect golfing conditions and a sublime 18 hole layout when you play Byron Bay golf course. This undulating course takes you through some of Byron Bay’s most scenic sub-tropical bushland. The views towards the famous Lighthouse, hinterland and coastline glimpses are divine.
Measuring 6303 metres from the back tees this layout is a championship layout. Beautifully presented the course is quite enjoyable for the higher handicapper but still holds plenty of challenges for the low marker. The impeccable greens are generous in size, bunkers are extremely well placed and the large ponds/lakes are a real feature. When you are in the NSW Northern Rivers region, we believe Byron Bay’s golf course should be very high on your list of courses to play.
Byron Bay golf course signature hole is definitely the 538 metre par five 13th. The elevated tee not only provides great views towards the Pacific Ocean but gives you the opportunity to get some real hang time, and distance, with your drive. In its defence the fairway is narrow and for most golfers it is three shots to the green. Your approach shot to the expansive, triangle shaped green will be memorable with water to the left and right, bunkers at the back and a very narrow opening at the front with water either side. Even if you hit the centre of this green you may still have a very long putt depending on the pin placement. This is an enormously enjoyable hole to play.
