With a small town population Bega Country Club offers a very well maintained golf course. The fairways, tees and greens have been in great condition each an every time GolfAway have visited. You will be met with scenic and slightly undulating tree lined fairways with plenty of wildlife to keep you interested.
Golfaway’s favourite hole at Bega has to be the 160 metre par three 7th. The cows that produce Bega’s famous cheese are metres from the tee in the neighbouring paddock. However these cows don’t judge your golfing prowess, they simply admire and keep chewing. Haha. This hole is not a difficult par 3 so every player has a chance of a birdie here. The tee shot is slightly downhill with out of bounds (cow pasture) on the left, and the large green is longer than it is wider. The play here is to land on the front portion of the green for that ever inviting birdie putt. This hole to us is what Bega is all about – pure enjoyment!
