Not only is this one of the country’s most scenic golf courses it is also one of the best golfing layouts to play. Yowani golf course is always kept in mint condition all year round. Golfing here also differs with each of the fours seasons of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter.

The fairways of Yowani meander around two large lakes. Most holes are bordered by an array of magnificent trees. The tees, fairways and greens are a testament to maticulous work by the greenkeepers and also the brilliant design of the layout.

On the front nine the par four 5th hole is a stunner. At 390m this is a testing hole. A longish tee shot that finds the short grass is required. Avoid the trees left and right otherwise a bogey (or worse) is almost inevitable. Once you find the fairway your approach shot is a mid to long iron uphill to large lef to right sloping green. Be sure to aim a little to the left as the green slopes of the right into a deep bunker. A par here is every golfers delight.

The back nine is host to one of the best 170m par threes you could ever play. Just standing on the 16th tee is stunning. A long water carry to a large green which feeds into the lake. There is a bailout out to the left which can leave a relatively easy chip and put but most of us golfers tend to go for glory. A par here is an excellent score considering there are many players who have walked away with 10+.
