Opened in 2005 the Worrigee Links Golf Course has matured into a very scenic and enjoyable layout. The 18 holes meander beautiful waterways, lagoons and lakes. The lush fairways are generous in width with the overall course feels like natural parkland.

Having a total length of just 5374 metres Worrigee Links the longer players still have plenty of opportunity to reach for the driver. There are some tricky holes here and the clumps of long natural grasses off the fairways come into play as does the water on some holes. The greens are very well maintained and have a large variety of sizes and shapes just to make things a little more interesting.

With out a doubt the Worrigee Links golf course’s signature hole is the 478 metre par five 7th. The fairway doglegs severely to the left with wet marshland bordering, also to the left, all the way home. There is open parkland and the 8th fairway to the right. This hole normally plays three shots even for the longer hitters. The green is completely obscured from the fairway with a mound containing a small hedge of native grasses and four bunkers. With a long tee shot that avoids the fairway bunkers and a long iron you can reach pin high to the left of the green but still need to chip on. This is an excellently designed golfing hole for players of all abilities.
