“Play golf in relaxed parklike surrounds at South West Rocks”

Experience some of Australia’s finest fauna and flora when you play golf at South West Rocks. Situated on NSW’s epic Mid North Coast, South West Rocks still remains a hidden golfing gem.

The fairways and green here in this small beachside village are surprisingly good! Also design of the golf course is equally special with no two holes being the same or similar. For the most part the South West Rocks golf course is flat but a number of holes feature undulating terrain. This adds to the many and varied golfing holes to enjoy.

There are many fun holes to be played at South West Rocks Country Club golf course. Our favourite is the challenging 370 metre par four 15th. The first challenge is to find the narrow-ish fairway that has water bordering the left hand side. The fairway itself also curves around to the left making this tee shot even more difficult for most of us who tend to slice the driver. The approach shot to the raised green is the next challenge as there is a water crossing that needs to be negotiated by the lesser skilled golfers. The green itself is quite generous but slopes off in all directions which makes chipping more of a challenge. A par or better here is a very good achievement.
