“Relaxed, serene and a quality layout to play Peregian Golf Course”

Playing Peregian Golf Course (formally Peregian Springs) is a pure golfers delight. This beautifully manicured course meanders through native bush land but still only minutes from Peregian Beach.

Probably the Sunshine Coast’s best kept secret the Peregian Beach golf course is a very underated layout in our opinion. There is a superb selection of golfing holes to play here.

The par 3 8th hole is a beauty to play. At just 145 meters it is not overly long. From the tee to green the hole is surrounded by towering tress which do provide some shelter from the wind. The large green, which is slightly elevated is surrounded by three bunkers. From the tee you are unable to see the base of the flag stick so after playing your tee shot there is always anticipation as to the exact location of your ball.

The back nine holes are even better than the first. A large lake comes into play on four of these nine holes. The par 5 18th hole offers the chance of regaining lost shots. Measuring 468 meters this is not a long par 5. A good tee shot is vital here. There is a slight dogleg to the left but a number of bunkers leading up to the green on the right hand side are to be avoided.

There are many risk / reward holes on Peregian Golf Course making it an extremely fun golf playing experience for golfers of all abilities.
