Maclean Golf Course

This very well maintained course features some very large undulating greens, lovely water features and fully irrigated fairways that you would expect to find on much more prominent golf courses. You will find some challenging holes to play here as well as wonderfully sloping greens.

All of us here at GolfAway agree that the signature hole at Maclean golf course is the 346 metre par four 15th. From the tee the heavily treelined fairway narrows somewhat towards a slight dogleg to the left. After negotiating the trees the fun begins with a downhill approach shot to the large kidney shaped green. Featuring prominently are two ponds either side of the slender section of fairway just before the green. To the right are two large bunkers and to the left is a steep slope that can feed your ball into yet more water. A brilliant feature of Maclean are the many large undulating greens and the 15th is certainly no exception.
