The Eden Sports & Recreation Club is home to Eden’s championship 18 hole golf course. This beautiful layout winds it’s way through natural eucalypt forests complete with a diverse range of Australia’s photogenic native wildlife. Undulating at times the Eden golf course has a huge variety of holes to play. The fairways are kept in great condition and so too are the greens, some of which are quite large.
We always enjoy our visits to the picturesque Eden golf course and selecting our favourite hole here is no easy task. Holes 6 and 11 deserve special mention but GolfAway’s choice for Eden’s signature hole is the 151 metre par three 18th. This quirky par 3 is a great way to finish your round. This hole is almost always shaded by tall gum trees and has a raised, oblong green which sits at a diagonal to the tee. The only real trouble here is the large gully in front of the green. Rated the ninth hardest hole on the course the 18th can provide a great birdie opportunity with an accurate tee shot.
