Since the closure of the highly rated Paradise Palms golf course the Cairns Golf Club has become the premier golfing experience in Cairns.
The Cairns golf course is relatively flat with enough undulations to make it very enjoyable to play. The fairways are lush all year round and are surrounded by beautiful native plants and towering trees. The greens are relatively large and play very true.
The par three 11th hole is a real gem. Visually intimidating with a full length water carry, this hole has a wide but shallow depth green making club selection very important and very rewarding. At 151 metres this wonderful hole is not overly long but it does have a bailout tee shot to the right.
The region of North Queensland is an excellent place to visit and to stay & play golf at Cairns is a genuine highlight.
