“Play golf at Hobart’s best kept secret at Kingston Beach”

Superb layout, excellent conditions and a variety of holes makes Kingston Beach golf course a pleasure to play. Right from the first tee you will be impressed by the view over the park like course to the beach and river beyond. Simply majestic.

The first two holes are short but demand accuracy. You can easily be distracted by the views on these two tees. The first hole par 3 and 162 metres in length but the large green is set well below the tee. This makes the hole play much shorter. Any wind can have a dramatic affect on your tee shot. With a large bunker covering the back and a large dam to the left of the green the best play here is to land on the front half to avoid the hazards.

The second hold, which is a 311 metre par 4, is equally as spectacular. A heavily wooded area guards the left of the fairway while a culvert runs all the way down the right. A driver is not needed here because to make a good score you will need to find the fairway.

Most of the following holes are flat and meander around the waterways. This is a great golf course to walk. After playing the 18th hole you get back up the hill to the clubhouse with a ride in the small motorised carriage. You will want to play this course more than once.
