Superbly located on the shores of North Creek the Ballina Golf Course offers 18 holes of golfing paradise. This easy walking golf course certainly has the holiday atmosphere with it’s proximity to the Pacific Ocean and eye-catching sub-tropical parklands styled layout.
The well manicured greens at Ballina are quite generous and have subtle undulations to make putting so much more enjoyable. There’s a great selection of tee boxes to choose from to suit any level of golfer and the well-grassed fairways are lined with a stunning range of trees, shrubs and foliage.
Ballina has quite a selection of great golfing holes to play. GolfAway’s choice for the signature hole at Ballina Golf Course would have to be the 314 metre par four 11th. Featuring superb elevated views of the wide expanses of North Creek from tee to green, the 11th hole provides a great chance of birdie or even that elusive eagle. With a narrow-ish tree lined fairway, out of bounds on the right and a large green surrounded by bunkers it is also very easy to walk of with a large score. This is a delightfully well designed hole in one of Ballina’s most spectacular locations and can be played in a variety of different ways.
