“A lovely scenic, undulating golf course to play at Gympie”

Play golf at Gympie Sports Club’s park like 18 hole championship golf course. This very well maintained layout offers some challenging holes that will test the avid golfer. The greens vary greatly in size but run true all year round.

The historic town Gympie itself is quite undulating, some would say hilly, and the golf course is no different. While there are a number flatter holes to be played the one big plus here is that we all get to enjoy the some elevated tees to watch our drive’s fly that much further than normal. Another great feature of the Gympie Golf Course is there is a remarkably wide variety of holes to play.

GolfAway’s choice for Gympie’s signature hole would be the picturesque 124 metre par three 16th. Situated in the most scenic part of the golf course and surrounded by tall shady trees this short par three is a beautiful looking hole. Your tee shot needs to carry the scattered ornamental grass plants to a medium sized oval shaped green. Surrounded by four strategically place bunkers the narrow green will provide the accurate tee shot with a great chance of birdie.
