Play golf at Tin Can Bay Country Club’s park-like 18 hole layout. Located at the entrance of this sleepy fishing village is a quality golf course that will have you returning again and again.
The 5704 metre Tin Can Bay golf course winds it’s way around natural water ways, dams and ponds with the lush natural coastal vegetation a real highlight. The fairways here are mostly generous in size and the rough is not too penalising. The well manicured greens vary in size and shape and provide plenty of opportunity to hole long putts.
There are plenty of fun golfing holes to play here but GolfAway’s pick for Tin Can Bay’s signature hole is the short 133 metre par three 5th. This is quite a peacefully stunning location that encapsulates this golf course and the regions beauty. A large pond is nestled just in front of the tees to provide a water carry of around 70 metres from the back tee and really only will catch badly mis-hit tee shots though. The circular green has no bunkers and is set in the middle of a lush park like setting with only a bunch of paperbark trees to the right. Birdie here is a real possibility for any level of golfer. Yay!
