Located on it’s own peninsula and bordered by water playing the Tasmania Golf Course never disappoints. This demanding layout can be enjoyed by golfers of all abilities. Most holes have beautiful scenic views which enhances your golf experience. The course is open to the elements but yet still so close to the city.
The par five 3rd hole is one of the most picturesque holes in Australia, if not the world. High praise I know but seeing is believing. The tee is perched high on a cliff face and the fairway gently curves to the left following the sandy beach of Barilla Bay. The view is amazing. The tee shot here makes this a true risk reward hole.
On the back nine you will come across another stunning view. From the par three 11th hole the green is 30 metres below and the vista beyond is awesome. The green is guarded by a bunker at the front and beautiful waters of Barilla bay at the back. Choosing the correct iron can be challenging here on a windy day.
