Experience extraordinary terrain when you play golf at Wirrina Cove. Following the natural undulating landscapes of the Fleurieu Peninsula this 18 hole layout is a pure delight.
With excellent fairways, large greens, well placed bunkers and natural water hazards, Wirrina Cove has plenty of variety for even the most finicky golfer. There are some testing holes here for the low handicappers when playing off the back markers but there’s also some spacious landing areas for the not so accurate player. The well maintained generous greens also provide a great target for the average golf enthusiast.
The par three’s are a highlight here with the 148 metre 4th hole one of the finest. Playing downhill most players shouldn’t have any trouble with the distance. The green is very wide but quite shallow from front to back so accuracy with your distance is the key. Just in front of the green is a deep water filled ravine to negotiate as well as bunker on the front edge. Overall this a a great looking hole with a great chance to make a memorable score.
