“Play golf on McCracken’s delightfully designed championship golf course”

Play golf at McCracken’s challenging 18 hole layout and experience what a difference great course design makes. Set in the undulating hills of Victor Harbour, this Tony Cashmere designed masterpiece utilises the existing terrain tremendously well.

With a high slope rating of 140 from the back markers McCracken golf course has no less than 14 lakes, of varying sizes and over 70 well placed bunkers to challenge even the most experienced golfer. This is a true championship rated golf course right here, waiting for you, on the Fleurieu Peninsula.

The opening hole is a real stunner. Being a downhill 482 metre par five there is every chance this could be your longest drive of the day – if you can avoid trees to the left and a large fairway bunker on the right. The longer hitters can reach the green in two shots but most players lay up on the left had side of the fairway to avoid an approach shot over water. The green is large and has bunkering to the left and rear with water to the right. Playing to position on this fairway makes the hole so much easier but if you are out of position then scoring well is challenging. The first tee at McCracken gives you a stunning outlook over this impressive golf course.
