Play golf at Brookwater and you will be enchanted. This imaginative design set amongst towering eucalypts leaves every golfer wanting more. In has all the hallmarks of a classic Greg Norman designed golf course including large scalloped bunkers and equally large slightly undulating greens that can harbour many differing pin placements.

Brookwater is setup to challenge the most skillful of golfers and with recent renovations it is now a little more forgiving for the less talented. This makes for a very enjoyable day for most average golfers. All sets of tees are in excellent condition and give the choice of each player to test their ability. The fairways meander there way around this quite undulating terrain which makes each and every hole exquisitely unique.

One of Brookwater’s signature holes is the stunning 551 metre par five 13th. From the tee you look downhill at the awesome valley below which is heavily treelined and slopes down from both sides to the centre of the fairway. This in itself give confidence to the average golfer. For the longer hitters there is a strategically placed bunker at driving distance on the right hand side of the left bending dogleg fairway. The 13th green is a large target and is guarded by two large bunkers at the front left and front right. Any second or third approach shot will also need to avoid the large bunker located around 50 metres short of the green. A lot can go wrong on this hole but when things go right a birdie or better is quite satisfying.
